Privacy Policy

Overview

Dire Mountain: Cold Trail does not require an account and does not operate its own server. Game progress, unlocks, and sound settings are stored locally on the player's device.

Optional rewarded advertising

Players may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement in exchange for an optional in-game benefit. The game uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Google and its advertising partners may process device and app identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, ad interactions, consent choices, and diagnostic information to provide, measure, secure, and personalize advertising where permitted.

Rewarded advertisements are optional. Declining an advertisement does not prevent normal play. Where required, the game requests consent before requesting advertisements. Privacy controls are available from the game's Settings screen when Google makes them available for the player's region and consent state.

Storage, security, and retention

Local game data remains on the device until the player clears the app's storage or uninstalls the game. The game does not transmit that local game data to the developer. Advertising providers use encrypted network connections and retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations. The developer of Dire Mountain: Cold Trail does not sell personal information.

Data deletion

The game does not create user accounts or store player data on a developer-operated server. Players can delete all locally stored game data at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the game. Data processed independently by advertising providers is governed by those providers' privacy controls and policies.

Children

Dire Mountain: Cold Trail is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an advertising provider, contact the developer using the address below.
